この曲は１９６５年９月２５日アメリカでバリーマクガイヤがＮｏ１ヒットとさせたものですが、１９９３年にこの曲を作詞作曲した、Ｐ．Ｆ．スローン（日本では孤独の世界で当時知名度あり）が歌詞を９０年代に置き換えて自ら歌っています。　もと詞は反戦メッセージの強烈なものでしたが、９３年版では自然破壊に対するメッセージソングとなっています。 紙芝居の原案のくしゃみを作っていて、ＣＤを聴いたら偶然にも同じような内容だったので記載しました。
