かたくり
Katakuri
単子葉類ユリ科カタクリ属
ふれあい広場の近くの栗林に群生する。他の若葉が日光をさえぎる前に葉を出し、４月中旬には花を咲かせる。その種は蟻によって地中深く運ばれ、７、８年かかってやっと初めて花をつけることができる。
Katakuri grows together in patches where the chestnut tree meet a open space called "Fureai". It grows and blooms in April before other plant over grows it. The Katakuri seeds are carried below the ground by ants. This must mature for 7 or 8 years before it develops flowers.
ショウジョウバカマsyojyobakama
単子葉類ユリ科ショウジョウバカマ属
本館の登り坂の山側に多くみられ、３月の末に雪が解けてすぐ花をつける。高山植物としても知られ、加賀の白山でも見つけることができる。 ショウジョウとは酒好きでいつも顔が赤いさるのような中国の架空の動物のことで、花の色がその色に似ているから。
We can find Syojyobakama on the slope of Nature House. Shojyobakama blooms soon after snow melts in later March.
It is famous as a high mountain plant. We can find it on Mt.Hakusan in Isikawa prefecture. This plant is named after imaginary pink faced monkey of Chinese legend. The color of flower looks like the pink face.
タニウツギ taniutugi
双子葉合弁花類スイカズラ科タニウツギ属
つどいの広場や趣味の家の裏手に数多く生息する。６月ごろピンク色の美しい花を咲かせ、子ども達の目を楽しませてくれる。空木（うつぎ）と書き、幹が中が中空になっている。
Taniutugi grows the reverse side of Tudoi open space and Hobby House. It can have a beautiful flower of pink in June. And the Children, vesited Nature House, were enjoyed by this flower. Its trunk is cave.
